POSITION SPECIFICS PennTAP is recruiting an energetic Small Business Outreach Representative for Western Pennsylvania to support RISE PA energy efficiency project implementation. The ideal candidate demonstrates passion for sustainability, economic development, and manufacturing sector innovations. The Outreach Representative will be instrumental in executing strategic objectives by interfacing with businesses, partners, and stakeholders to encourage energy efficiency program participation. This role emphasizes relationship development, technical consultation, project management, and performance tracking. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement and Support: • Proactively interact with potential and existing clients to evaluate energy efficiency project results • Assist with implementation grant applications and navigate RISE PA submission process • Offer technical guidance, maintaining current program and technology knowledge • Monitor client milestone progression and project timeline adherence Measurement and Verification: • Conduct post-project assessments measuring energy savings • Analyze data to confirm efficiency benchmark achievement • Communicate findings to stakeholders for continuous improvement Strategic Outreach and Relationship Building: • Design outreach strategies increasing small/mid-enterprise program participation • Cultivate partnerships with economic development networks • Serve as interdepartmental communication liaison Program Coordination and Reporting: • Collaborate with internal teams and leadership • Track participation metrics and strategic goal forecasting • Ensure comprehensive project milestone documentation Work Location: Flexible across University Park and Western Pennsylvania campuses. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Business Development Relationship Adviser - Advanced Professional: • Bachelor's Degree • 3+ years relevant experience • No specific certifications required Business Development Relationship Adviser - Senior Professional: • Master's Degree • 6+ years relevant experience • No specific certifications required BACKGROUND CHECKS Employment requires successful background verification. Motor vehicle operation necessitates valid driver's license and driving record review. U.S. work authorization mandatory. No visa sponsorship provided.
