About the Role
This role supports military service members transitioning to civilian careers through the Department of Defense Skillbridge program. Interns gain hands-on experience managing enterprise customer support operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving service delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in resolving high-priority support cases for large organizational clients
- Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose and escalate complex system issues
- Document support processes and contribute to knowledge base improvements
- Monitor case backlogs and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries
- Participate in training sessions to learn enterprise software platforms
- Engage with cross-functional teams to improve customer resolution workflows
- Track and report on support metrics and service performance indicators
- Follow established protocols for handling sensitive customer data
- Support onboarding activities for new enterprise clients
- Communicate status updates to stakeholders during active incidents
- Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions
- Adhere to security and compliance standards throughout support operations
- Utilize case management tools to organize and prioritize workloads
- Contribute to post-mortem analyses after major support events
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions
- Assist in testing new features from a supportability perspective
- Help refine escalation paths for technical support teams
- Participate in team meetings and operational reviews
- Follow change management procedures when updating support documentation
- Support after-hours critical incidents as needed
- Apply problem-solving skills to reduce customer resolution time
- Work under supervision to complete assigned support projects
- Develop familiarity with enterprise software architecture
- Practice clear and professional communication with internal teams
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in customer support
Nice to Have
- Experience with helpdesk or technical support functions
