Syneos Health is hiring a Single Sponsor Clinical Project Manager II - Dublin office (3 days a week)

About the Role

Lead clinical research projects as a dedicated Project Manager within a hybrid work environment based in Dublin, requiring three days per week onsite. You will direct interdisciplinary teams to deliver complex clinical trials, ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory standards, and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of clinical studies, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements and sponsor expectations
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the organization and the client, fostering clear communication and accountability
  • Drive project planning, budget oversight, and timeline management to ensure efficient study delivery
  • Monitor financial performance and deliverables across all phases of the trial lifecycle
  • Coordinate contributions from cross-functional partners and ensure alignment with project goals
  • Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to maintain progress
  • Ensure inspection readiness, including maintenance of trial master files and accurate data reporting
  • Lead internal and client-facing meetings, preparing reports and presentations as needed
  • Support business development through strong client relationships and potential involvement in bid defenses
  • May supervise junior project management or monitoring staff as required

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a life science field such as Medicine, Pharmacy, or Nursing. Demonstrated understanding of GCP and regulatory guidelines is essential, along with strong organizational and time management abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to work independently and travel when necessary (approximately 25%). Prior experience within a clinical research organization or in a relevant therapeutic area is preferred, as is adaptability to new technologies.
