About the Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing a Shopify store, with a focus on site performance, design consistency, and integration of key business tools. This role requires technical precision and close collaboration with marketing and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Shopify storefront to ensure optimal performance
- Implement design changes and new features based on business needs
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to site functionality and checkout
- Collaborate with marketing to deploy promotional campaigns online
- Ensure mobile responsiveness across all devices
- Monitor site speed and implement optimization strategies
- Integrate third-party apps and tools into the Shopify environment
- Manage product listings, collections, and inventory displays
- Support SEO best practices through site structure and metadata
- Enforce security standards and maintain compliance protocols
- Track website analytics and report on key performance metrics
- Assist in A/B testing for layout and conversion improvements
- Coordinate with external developers when necessary
- Maintain version control and change documentation
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
- Handle domain and DNS management tasks
- Optimize image and media assets for fast loading
- Support email campaign integrations with the storefront
- Update privacy policies and legal pages as needed
- Manage redirects and handle URL structure changes
- Assist in preparing for seasonal sales and product launches
- Maintain backup protocols for site data and configurations
- Work with customer service to resolve user-reported issues
- Stay current with Shopify platform updates and features
- Ensure accessibility standards are met where applicable
