Deel is looking for a Shipping Assistant in our Houston, Texas location, focused on IT equipment fulfillment. You will ensure timely shipments and inventory accuracy, playing a key hands-on role within our global HR and payroll platform that is building infrastructure for the future of work.
What You'll Do
- Work with the wider order operations team to ensure customer orders are shipped on time.
- Prepare products for dispatch to customers, including picking and packing.
- Ensure inventory accuracy within product categories through cycle counting and stock-takes.
- Participate in projects and sprints designed to increase organizational capacity and scalability.
- Perform hands-on start-up operations tasks and grow into new roles as they arise.
- Handle additional 'all hands on deck' tasks typical of a startup environment.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in a fulfillment warehouse or distribution center.
- Motivated, fast learner eager to contribute across all areas of a start-up.
- Strong interest in learning how to build and scale a growing business.
Nice to Have
- Experience in IT fulfilment is a plus.
