Responsibilities
- Supports daily shipping operations including movement, handling, loading, unloading, stacking, and order fulfillment of printed materials.
- Handles manual and administrative tasks for shipping customer samples and finished goods via FedEx, UPS, USPS, and comparable carriers.
- Ensures products meet customer requirements and service agreements before shipment.
- Manages clerical and physical aspects of receiving and shipping materials, supplies, equipment, and finished goods via freight or LTL services.
- Verifies shipments against documentation, packs items per specifications, prepares bills of lading, records weights and shipping costs, and labels packages correctly.
- Unloads delivery vehicles, checks incoming goods against shipping documents, confirms identification and quantities, and logs receipt records.
- Performs routine support tasks for production areas following established procedures.
- Keeps required records and documentation organized and up to date.
- Uses hand tools and operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and stage materials.
- Communicates clearly with customers, suppliers, customer service, and production staff.
- Builds collaborative relationships across departments to ensure efficient, cost-effective handling, storage, and shipment of products.
- Supports management with team activities, training, safety initiatives, and special projects.
- Follows all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
- Reports safety hazards, malfunctions, or potential issues to supervisors promptly.
- Examines products and shipments to confirm they meet required specifications.
- Attends production meetings or consults with other departments when needed to align shipping and receiving schedules.
- Keeps the work environment clean, organized, and secure, especially at dock access points.
- Promotes and adheres to the organization's Quality Policy and Objectives.
- May operate a delivery van locally to transport materials or products while maintaining vehicle safety and regulatory compliance.
Compensation
$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

- Available Shifts: Mid Shift: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Compensation: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr
- Mid Shift Differential: $1/hr
- Operates material handling equipment including forklifts, skids, pallet handlers, hand trucks, etc.
- May drive delivery van to transport materials or products in local area
