CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee - Overnight to begin a path towards store leadership. This entry-level, short-term role prepares you for a higher-level supervisory position by immersing you in key aspects of our business and culture. You will perform work as directed, complete basic operations and management training, and learn to support a smooth-running retail pharmacy environment.
What You'll Do
- Work effectively with store management and store crews to execute daily tasks.
- Supervise the store’s crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities.
- Effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews.
- Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints.
- Promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers.
- Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy to promote a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality at all times.
- When no manager is onsite, lead the store staff, ensure smooth store operations, and be responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Deductive reasoning and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a retail environment.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
