Responsibilities
- Support the Shift Manager in executing daily warehouse functions and resolving operational disruptions as they arise.
- Plan and supervise the daily tasks and responsibilities of warehouse personnel.
- Ensure all warehouse tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Handle disciplinary actions, employee grievances, and absence management for team members during the shift.
- Facilitate communication briefings to keep all team members informed and aligned.
- Enforce adherence to health and safety standards through proper work practices, cleanliness, and ongoing training.
- Guide team members in achieving performance goals and address performance shortfalls promptly.
- Track and document individual and team performance metrics, reporting unresolved operational risks to the Shift Manager.
- Help coordinate training initiatives and on-the-job coaching for warehouse staff development.
