Responsibilities
- Evaluate documents and conduct on-site inspections to verify that ingredients, manufacturing methods, and logistics adhere to Shariah principles.
- Apply deep knowledge of Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Hadith, and Quranic principles to resolve complex certification questions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scientific processes do not conflict with religious standards.
Requirements
- Must be a resident of the United States (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder).
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Islamic Studies, Shariah Law (Fiqh), Hadith Sciences, or Arabic Language & Islamic Literature.
- Deep expertise in Islamic Dietary Laws and Halal/Haram distinctions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply classical Fiqh to modern industrial contexts.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally to conduct on-site inspections and audits.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Arabic.

Additional Information
- This position is open only to USA residents who are authorized to work in the United States.
- Candidates from outside the USA will not be considered for this role.
- The Shariah Auditor will work alongside the technical auditor to ensure production aligns with Islamic Jurisprudence.
- Ethical and religious compliance oversight includes maintaining Tayyib (purity) throughout the supply chain.
