Responsibilities
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of current TSA regulations, security directives, and standard operating procedures to oversee passenger and baggage screening with strict adherence.
- Oversee and support the gathering of key performance data across screening operations.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements to address systemic or individual shortcomings.
- Ensure the safety and security of travelers while maintaining a focus on respectful and efficient customer service.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all airport partners and operational stakeholders.
- Assign tasks to direct reports to support their professional growth and expand their operational experience.
- Track individual employee performance and provide regular feedback to foster leadership capabilities.
- Supervise screening activities and coordinate with TSA officials to ensure compliance with policies and implement new directives.
- Manage the scheduling and deployment of screening personnel.
- Advance screener proficiency through continuous performance evaluation and consistent feedback.
