Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure Solution Consultants demonstrate customer relevance, discover business and technical challenges, deliver high-quality presentations and demonstrations
- Execute proofs of concept strategically, comprehend and document business value, and secure customer commitment to ServiceNow solutions
- Develop team members according to business demands and individual professional goals
- Maintain recruiting pipeline for future Solution Consulting candidates
- Collaborate with regional sales managers to prioritize Solution Consulting efforts
- Allocate resources to sales opportunities and consistently evaluate progress
- Assign resources to marketing and demand generation initiatives
- Develop and implement team training curriculums
- Regularly evaluate team members through direct observation, peer feedback, and sales insights
- Ensure proper resource alignment and effective skill set utilization
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of Higher Education landscape and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of industry best practices in the Higher Education sector
- Experience in fast-growing IT environments (software, cloud, customer experience)
- 7 years of presales experience
- First-line management experience with presales teams
- Deep understanding of US market and senior management engagement
- Proficiency in coaching, mentoring, and individual contributor management
- Ability to motivate and inspire growing presales teams
- Experience in Value Based Selling and Solution Selling
- Thorough understanding of SaaS market, PaaS solutions, and Service Management practices
