Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) is hiring a ServiceNow Solution Architect

Role Overview

As a ServiceNow Solution Architect, you will take ownership of the platform’s end-to-end technical direction across both internal enterprise systems and external customer-facing instances. Your work will ensure architectural integrity, operational efficiency, and long-term scalability of ServiceNow implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and govern the overall architecture of ServiceNow environments, covering design, deployment, and lifecycle management for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the CMDB strategy, including data modeling, service mapping, integration frameworks, and configuration governance to support accurate, compliant, and reliable operations.
  • Drive DevOps excellence by overseeing CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment processes, version control, and development standards across teams.
  • Assess incoming feature requests and enhancements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security policies, and platform evolution goals.
  • Provide technical leadership across core modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, CSM, and custom-built applications.
  • Design reusable, scalable frameworks to onboard new applications, teams, and external partners onto the platform efficiently.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, business units, and platform operations to deliver seamless integrations, automated workflows, and resilient service delivery.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability for all ServiceNow instances.
  • Establish coding standards, conduct technical design reviews, and guide developers on architectural best practices and platform patterns.
  • Lead platform modernization initiatives, including upgrades, patching strategies, health assessments, and technical debt reduction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, translating business requirements into future-ready technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure design consistency, delivery quality, and readiness for future expansion.
  • Support team development through mentoring, capability building, and the promotion of strong documentation and knowledge-sharing practices.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Technology or equivalent degree and bring hands-on experience in ServiceNow application development and platform support.
