Mercedes-Benz Group AG is hiring a ServiceNow Solution Architect to shape the future of our platform strategy. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and governance of the ServiceNow platform across Customer Instances (for dealers and external partners) and Enterprise Instances (for internal business units). You will act as the primary technical advisor, translating business needs into scalable architectural solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and governance of the ServiceNow platform across Customer Instances and Enterprise Instances.
- Own the CMDB strategy, data models, service mapping, integrations, and configuration governance.
- Drive technical leadership for all DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, versioning, and development standards.
- Evaluate, refine, and steer new demands and enhancement requests, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and platform roadmap.
- Provide architectural oversight for modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, CSM, and custom applications.
- Lead solution design for onboarding new applications, teams, and customers onto the ServiceNow platform with scalable, reusable frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Business, Platform Operations) to deliver robust workflows, integrations, and service automations.
- Ensure performance, availability, and reliability of both customer and enterprise ServiceNow instances.
- Define coding standards, review technical designs, and guide development teams on platform best practices and architectural patterns.
- Drive continuous improvement of the platform including upgrades, patching strategy, health checks, and technical debt reduction.
- Partner with vendors/partners to align on design standards, delivery quality, and future expansion needs.
- Mentor internal teams, build capability, and ensure strong knowledge management and documentation discipline.
What We're Looking For
- B Tech/BE degree.
- Proven experience in ServiceNow Application Development & platform support.
