About the Team The Capacity Engineering team oversees global capacity operations through strategic operations, engineering, and automation initiatives. They are involved in: - Developing automation for comprehensive cloud capacity lifecycle management - Managing global datacenter capacity to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness - Addressing operational challenges to minimize service disruptions - Designing and maintaining datacenter laboratories for testing and development - Facilitating production lifecycle events with minimal business impact Role Responsibilities - Provide sustainable solutions to infrastructure challenges - Leverage software development, systems engineering, and networking expertise to proactively prevent recurring issues - Collaborate with partner teams to enhance infrastructure reliability and performance - Promote a culture of automation, delivering scalable solutions Qualifications - Experience integrating AI into work processes and decision-making - Comprehensive Linux platform/systems knowledge - Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or JavaScript - Advanced networking skills, including IP addressing and routing - MySQL database administration expertise - Experience monitoring large-scale systems, applications, and networks - ServiceNow platform experience (preferred) - Exceptional attention to detail - Ability to work shifts covering one weekend day Special Requirements: Australian Baseline Security Clearance required. Successful candidates must complete and pass the adjudication process. Australian citizens currently residing in Australia will be considered.
