Eleos Health is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Developer to support and enhance an enterprise ServiceNow implementation for a federal agency customer. This role involves supporting the current environment while leading the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow IRM capabilities, with a focus on workflow automation, custom development, and scalable governance to meet the agency’s risk and compliance objectives.
What You'll Do
- Design, configure, and develop solutions across the ServiceNow platform in alignment with federal requirements and governance standards.
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow IRM capabilities, including Policy Management, Compliance Management, and Controls.
- Design and implement complex workflow-driven solutions using Flow Designer, including approvals, task orchestration, and exception handling.
- Develop and maintain custom applications, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, script includes, ACLs, and integrations as required.
- Develop and maintain custom UI components using JavaScript, HTML, and ServiceNow UI frameworks like UI Builder and Service Portal.
- Build and enhance advanced IRM process automation for control testing, risk acceptance, issue remediation, and compliance evidence collection.
- Support the development and implementation of Performance Analytics dashboards, KPIs, and reporting for risk and compliance visibility.
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, project managers, and federal stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.
- Adhere to established platform governance, change management, security review, and quality assurance processes.
- Provide technical input during requirements discussions to drive feasible, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Support documentation efforts, including technical design artifacts, configuration guides, and operational support documentation.
- Support later-phase rollout and configuration of IRM functionality, including Policy, Compliance, and Audit Management.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of implementing and configuring ServiceNow IRM capabilities.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, including tables, CMDB, security model, scripting layers, and update set management.
- Strong hands-on scripting and development experience using JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, GlideRecord, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Strong front-end development skills, including experience with HTML and modern ServiceNow UI frameworks.
- Experience developing custom ServiceNow functionality adhering to platform standards for reusability, maintainability, and performance.
- Demonstrated experience building and troubleshooting complex ServiceNow workflows, including task orchestration, approval routing, and SLAs.
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery models, including sprint execution and release planning.
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated federal environment with structured governance and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience implementing IRM-related workflows and business processes, with emphasis on policy and compliance management.
- Proven ability to design and configure workflow-driven solutions supporting complex governance models and audit traceability.
- Experience designing secure IRM configurations, including ACL strategy, role segregation, and data access controls aligned with least privilege.
- Experience building custom integrations using IntegrationHub, REST APIs, scripted integrations, and external system orchestration.
- Experience configuring and supporting ServiceNow reporting capabilities, including dashboards and operational metrics.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- ServiceNow System Administration certifications (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Certified Implementation Specialist in IRM related discipline: Risk and Compliance (RC) or Third Party Risk Management (TPRM).
Nice to Have
- Performance Analytics / Platform Analytics experience, including KPI creation and automated data collection for executive-level IRM reporting.
- Experience implementing ServiceNow IRM within a federal or highly regulated environment subject to frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, or FedRAMP.
