As a ServiceNow Architect, you will lead the technical direction of ServiceNow implementations with a focus on Human Resources workflows. Your role is central to designing robust, scalable solutions that meet complex business needs while adhering to platform best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in architecting, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow platforms, particularly in HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
- Work closely with stakeholders to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective technical designs.
- Lead development teams through the full lifecycle of ServiceNow deployments, ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with enterprise goals.
- Design and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST, SOAP, and API technologies.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including architecture blueprints, design specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
- Support pre-sales efforts by delivering technical insights, solution demos, and project estimations.
- Stay current with platform updates and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Mentor developers and promote adherence to architectural standards and development practices.
Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (HR) required.
- Minimum of 15 years in IT, with at least 10 years focused on ServiceNow architecture and implementation.
- Proven experience in HRSD solution design and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and custom application development.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems via APIs.
- Background leading technical teams and managing large-scale implementations.
- Ability to obtain or currently hold Public Trust Clearance and an NIH badge.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Background
- Additional certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other CIS credentials.
- Experience working with federal or public sector clients.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and Agile or DevOps methodologies.
