Carrier Global Corporation is hiring a remote Service Strategic Account Executive to identify service solution opportunities and cultivate key strategic relationships with national and regional customers in the Education and Government markets. In this role, you will act as the primary contact for strategic accounts, develop new business, and collaborate across our North America Field Operations to drive growth in service and aftermarket sales.
What You'll Do
- Develop new business relationships with end-user clients and create business cases for utilizing Carrier Commercial Service and Aftermarket offerings.
- Communicate with and maintain relationships with end-user decision-makers including C-Level executives, VPs of Operations, and Directors of Facilities.
- Manage and develop new relationships and contracts with buying groups (Cooperative Purchasing Organizations).
- Prepare and negotiate complex sales contracts for a large portfolio of accounts.
- Partner with field sales, service teams, operations, and branch leadership to support business growth targets.
- Work directly with building owners to improve system reliability, reduce energy consumption, and enhance the indoor environment.
- Create and implement strategic sales strategies to position Carrier as the preferred supplier.
- Perform needs assessments, coordinate sales proposals and estimates, and work with internal resources to facilitate sales.
- Prepare accurate sales activity reports, forecast reports, and updates.
- Participate in civic and professional organizations to build a network that advances sales targets.
- Team sell with solutions partners to bundle offerings and expand participation in opportunities.
- Participate in bids, trade shows, and customer relationship management activities.
- Represent Carrier's broader interests and build relationships that align with company strategy.
- Collect and analyze market data to call on current and potential customers.
- Support existing customer relationships and travel as necessary (estimated 60-70% travel).
- Work autonomously with limited oversight from manager.
- Coach and review the work of field-level professionals.
- Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years of sales experience.
- Ability to travel domestically 60% of the time.
Nice to Have
- Advanced knowledge of the Education and Government markets and their typical customers.
- An aptitude for solution selling, identifying customer needs, qualifying opportunities, and mentoring local sales teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A high level of technical and financial expertise to independently assist field offices in selling Carrier Commercial equipment and service.
Team & Environment
You will collaborate across the North America Field Operations organization, the Strategic Account Team Leaders (Carrier Factory), and other Carrier Corporation National Leaders.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $143,250.00-$200,750.00.
