Mass General Brigham is seeking a Service Line Resource Tech 1 to join The McLean Hospital Corporation. In this role, you will perform sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance with established infection control standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Process specialty and general instruments.
- Reset instrument sets without error.
- Decontaminate instruments and equipment according to procedure.
- Maintain Central Sterile Department stock levels.
- Prepare and assemble surgical tray and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing.
- Communicate instrument repair needs to supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Nice to Have
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician [CRCST] - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)
- 1-2 years related experience
- Knowledge of case cart assembly.
- Familiarity with the regulatory standards of materials management.
- Experience conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
