Jordan Digital Marketing is looking for a detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our remote-first digital marketing agency. In this role, you will support SEO account managers in executing on-page optimizations, technical audits, keyword research, content recommendations, and performance analysis for our B2B, SaaS, and Fintech clients.
What You'll Do
- Support and collaborate with SEO account managers to execute on-page optimizations, technical SEO audits, and changes.
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization.
- Perform ongoing keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
- Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success.
- Research market and seasonal trends for SEO client industries.
- Perform keyword research and competitive analysis.
- Implement changes in content management systems (CMS).
- Execute methods to track, report, analyze, and improve SEO and content performance.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes.
- Participate in growing the company’s marketing blog.
- Participate in ongoing training to further skill set.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience working in SEO.
- Attention to detail and a good understanding of SEO best practices.
- Passion for SEO and internet marketing.
- Ability to implement SEO strategies while meeting client deadlines.
- Data-driven and analytical mindset.
- Desire to expand overall SEO and digital marketing knowledge.
- Willingness to work within a team structure and have a growth mindset.
- Experience working with SEO tools, including Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Agency experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with other SEO tools, including (but not limited to) Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Experience with and/or understanding of code (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with and/or knowledge of other marketing channels (e.g., PPC).
- Experience working with a variety of CMS’ (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
- Excellent writing skills.
