About the Role

Adyen seeks a data-driven and creative SEO & GEO Specialist to join our marketing team and help scale inbound organic growth. The ideal candidate combines a foundational understanding of traditional SEO with a passion for cutting-edge techniques like Generative Engine Optimization and Answer Engine Optimization.

What You'll Do

  • Perform regular site audits to identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with the web team to resolve them.
  • Optimize on-page elements including metadata, internal linking, heading structure, and content formatting.
  • Conduct keyword research to find new search opportunities and evaluate competitors to identify content gaps.
  • Track and report on SEO metrics such as rankings, sessions, and demos, making proactive recommendations.
  • Translate target keywords and topics into structured prompts for AI-driven search engines.
  • Test different prompt structures, content formats, and AI-driven content approaches to improve discoverability.
  • Track and report on GEO metrics such as Share of Voice, Mention Rate, and Citation Rate.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, content creators, and other teams.
  • Stay updated with algorithm changes, SEO/GEO best practices, tools, and competitive trends.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years of hands-on SEO experience.
  • Understanding of ranking factors and search engine optimization best practices.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or Semrush.
  • Passion for SEO and internet marketing, including staying current with SEO/GEO trends and tools.
  • Strong analytical, GA reporting, and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Basic understanding of Semantic HTML, Schema Markup, and cross-device compatibility concepts.
  • Outstanding flexibility, adaptability, sense of accountability, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • SEO experience within an enterprise software or SaaS environment.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing strategies for AEO and GEO.
  • Familiarity with using generative AI tools for keyword research, analysis, and optimization recommendations.
