Forbes Advisor is hiring an SEO Associate to support the growth of our Marketplace platform. You will partner with the SEO and Editorial teams to build a leading organic destination in the US for financial services information on credit cards, banking, loans, mortgages, and investing.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with the SEO manager and team to build editorial roadmaps.
• Conduct detailed keyword research to identify high-ROI terms and phrases.
• Analyze high-performing competitor domains to uncover growth opportunities.
• Optimize current content through robust briefs, covering title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and copy.
• Improve rankings and user experience through internal linking strategies.
• Analyze existing content to identify and implement enhancement opportunities.
• Monitor and report on overall site performance, including rankings and conversions.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of hands-on SEO experience.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload both independently and as part of a team.
• Proven experience with on-page SEO, including keyword research, competitive analysis, internal linking, and content briefs.
• Proficiency with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO elements such as schema, canonicals, and site speed.
• A passion for continued learning and staying current with industry trends.
• Knowledge and experience with content management systems, particularly WordPress.

Nice to Have

• Experience within the U.S. financial industry.

Team & Environment

You will join a larger SEO team distributed between the UK, US, and India, as part of the Forbes Marketplace SEO team. You will report to the SEO Manager and work very closely with the Forbes Marketplace Editorial Team.
