Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows server environments, including but not limited to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
- Ensure systems are patched, up-to-date, and secure
- Provide technical support for Windows-based applications
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure applications are optimized for performance and availability
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Ensure high availability and performance of Windows platforms and applications
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect organizational data and IT resources
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architectures, configurations, processes, and service records
- Provide expert advice and support to internal teams and external clients
- Collaborate on IT solutions that align with business objectives
- Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices
- Recommend improvements to systems and processes
