As a Platform Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering robust cloud platforms using Azure and Terraform. You’ll collaborate directly with development teams and clients, ensuring solutions are secure, efficient, and aligned with business goals. Your work will involve solving complex infrastructure challenges, automating workflows, and supporting the full lifecycle of cloud-based applications.
What You'll Do
- Design and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring consistency and repeatability across environments
- Implement and maintain Azure services including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security components
- Support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and GitLab to enable fast, reliable deployments
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including remote troubleshooting of Windows Server environments via RDP
- Collaborate in agile teams, contributing to architecture decisions and documenting technical outcomes
- Monitor system performance and reliability using Azure Monitoring and related observability tools
- Write and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell or Bash to streamline operations
- Guide clients through technical implementations, helping them adopt best practices in cloud infrastructure
What We're Looking For
- Technical degree or equivalent professional experience
- At least three years of hands-on experience with Azure, with familiarity across other cloud providers (AWS, GCP) considered an asset
- Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
- Solid understanding of Docker and containerization concepts
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and issue tracking tools like Jira
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of scripting languages including PowerShell and Bash
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts in English, both verbally and in writing
- Understanding of security principles and infrastructure as code best practices
- Experience visualizing and documenting software architecture and system decisions
