AECOM is hiring a Senior Water Conveyance Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Partner with specialists in pipeline design to create, evaluate, and refine engineering plans, technical specifications, and budget projections.
  • Perform on-site evaluations and infrastructure condition reviews to verify adherence to engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in investigations related to pipeline failures and forensic analysis of pipeline systems.
  • Support projects from initial planning through design and construction phases, including new installations and rehabilitation of existing pipelines.
  • Apply expertise in the design of pressurized piping systems.
  • Conduct structural and stress analysis for piping systems under various load conditions.
  • Offer expert advice to project teams and guide early-career engineers through mentorship.
  • Produce, review, and edit technical documents, including reports, memos, and investigation findings, with clarity and precision.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, methodologies, and innovations in pipeline engineering.
  • Take part in professional associations such as AWWA or similar industry groups.
