As a Senior Tutor, you'll provide one-on-one remote instruction for the SAT or ACT, working directly with high school students to build skills, confidence, and strategic readiness for college admissions exams.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver customized tutoring sessions that respond to individual learning styles and academic goals.
- Create targeted lesson plans and practice assessments to address specific student challenges and strengths.
- Track performance over time and offer clear, actionable feedback to students and their families.
- Apply proven teaching techniques that improve content mastery and test-taking efficiency.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and discretion in all communications.
What We’re Looking For
- Outstanding personal performance on the SAT, ACT, or both.
- At least three years of paid tutoring or teaching experience focused on these exams.
- Deep familiarity with the structure, content, and strategies relevant to the SAT and ACT.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Availability to teach between 5 and 20 hours weekly, with flexibility to accommodate student schedules across U.S. time zones.
