Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Senior Transaction Manager for our Rail Practice Group. In this role, you will be the direct point of contact and portfolio manager responsible for a large portfolio of client-owned real estate transactions within an assigned geographic territory. You will apply strong transactional sales skills and a commitment to client service to achieve portfolio objectives.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the Senior Portfolio Manager and primary contact for a portfolio of client-owned real estate in your assigned territory.
- Manage the full sales transaction process, including securing approvals, negotiating property values, and preparing agreements.
- Meet or exceed all transaction and revenue goals for your assigned portfolio.
- Proactively analyze and manage the client's portfolio to propose transactions that maximize value-added results.
- Identify, market, and sell client properties within your geographic territory with accuracy and urgency.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor critical dates for due diligence and closings.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers, promptly responding to inquiries.
- Serve as a key information resource for the client through research, data compilation, and special projects.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to drive business results.
- Travel within your assigned territory as necessary (minimum 10% travel).
- Maintain all transaction and client data within Salesforce with exceptional accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure data integrity across all platforms and reporting systems.
What We're Looking For
- Related bachelor's degree.
- 7+ years of real estate experience with a direct transaction background.
- 5+ years of direct railroad and/or right of way real estate experience, or proven portfolio management work on a similar client account.
- Valid real estate license(s) for the state(s) in which you'll be conducting business.
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to varied audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple transactions accurately with a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated success in managing large portfolios of real estate transactions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Expert-level proficiency with Salesforce for managing client data and transaction pipelines.
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain connections with internal teams and external stakeholders.
