At Love's Travel Stops, we are looking for a Senior Technology Project Manager to lead high-impact technology initiatives for our Supply Chain organization. You will drive complex projects from inception to delivery, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver tangible value.
What You'll Do
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of supply chain and merchandising technology projects, from planning through post-implementation review.
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to technology implementation.
- Leverage project management tools to document, track, and report on progress.
- Manage multiple projects effectively across teams, technologies, and business areas.
- Identify the best project management approach—waterfall, agile, or hybrid—based on the team and project.
- Partner with solution implementation partners and adapt methodologies for Love's.
- Oversee the implementation of supply chain systems, data platforms, and integrations.
- Coordinate with external partners, technology, and supply chain teams for seamless system integration.
- Leverage AI to enhance project management functions, reporting, and risk management.
- Identify opportunities to improve project flow, documentation, and communication.
- Implement hybrid and innovative approaches to deliver value throughout a project.
- Partner with supply chain leaders, subject matter experts, and technology teams to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Communicate project status, risks, and benefits to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Prepare and present project status reports tailored to various audiences.
- Facilitate effective meetings spanning multiple teams on complex matters.
- Act as a mentor, coach, and facilitator to build self-organizing, high-performing teams.
- Proactively remove obstacles to keep teams focused and productive.
- Define clear roles and responsibilities for all project team members.
- Guide teams in setting realistic delivery objectives in waterfall, Kanban, or Agile/sprint cycles.
- For agile projects: facilitate scrum ceremonies, maintain team capacity, burn-downs, and dashboard reporting.
- For waterfall projects: facilitate necessary meetings, maintain resource models, project plans, and reporting.
- Demonstrate and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
