Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle technology projects from initiation to deployment and post-implementation evaluation within supply chain and merchandising domains.
- Establish clear project goals, scope, and success metrics in coordination with stakeholders, aligned with organizational and supply chain objectives.
- Create and manage comprehensive project plans, including budgeting and resource planning.
- Ensure all projects are completed on schedule, within defined scope, and without exceeding budget.
- Proactively identify, assess, and address risks associated with technology rollouts.
- Utilize project management platforms such as Azure DevOps, Aha!, and MS Project to track progress, document outcomes, and support planning activities.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across diverse teams, technologies, and business functions efficiently.
- Select and apply the most suitable project methodology based on team dynamics and project requirements.
- Collaborate with external implementation partners to adapt and integrate their methods with internal processes.
- Oversee the deployment and integration of supply chain systems, data pipelines, and integration platforms.
- Coordinate with internal and external technology and supply chain teams to ensure smooth data exchange and system interoperability.
- Apply artificial intelligence tools to enhance project tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify and implement improvements in project workflows, documentation standards, and communication practices.
- Apply hybrid and innovative delivery models to accelerate value delivery while scaling execution effectively.
- Work closely with supply chain leaders, technical experts, and IT teams to ensure technology solutions meet business needs and are widely adopted.
- Deliver regular updates on project status, risks, and benefits to executives and cross-functional partners.
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and domain experts through consistent, transparent communication.
- Prepare and present tailored project reports to various audiences, adjusting content for different levels of detail and focus.
- Lead complex, multi-team meetings to resolve technical and operational challenges efficiently.
- Serve as a mentor and facilitator to cultivate self-managing, high-performing project teams.
- Remove impediments promptly to maintain team productivity and focus.
- Define and communicate clear roles and responsibilities to promote accountability across the project team.
- Guide teams in setting achievable delivery timelines and manage expectations across stakeholders using methodologies such as waterfall, Kanban, or Agile.
- For Agile projects, lead scrum events including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and feature planning; track capacity, burn-down metrics, and dashboard reporting.
- For waterfall projects, coordinate required planning meetings, manage resource models, maintain phase-appropriate project plans, and ensure timely reporting and stakeholder updates.
