Responsibilities
- Develop architectural design solutions for data centre projects
- Produce accurate and compliant BIM models and drawings in line with design requirements
- Coordinate design efforts across architectural teams and with other disciplines
- Conduct fundamental architectural and engineering calculations
- Create technical specifications, reports, and supporting data documentation
- Maintain communication with design and drafting personnel
- Generate, examine, and authorize drawings as needed
- Carry out design tasks of moderate to significant complexity under limited supervision
- Gain familiarity with relevant codes, permitting processes, and technical software
- Learn to develop designs and drawings using project specifications and team instructions following industry standards
- Understand the function and application of vendor-provided documentation
- Begin learning material take-off procedures specific to the architectural discipline
