CSG seeks a Senior Technical Writer in Malaysia to join the team behind our CSQ Quote & Order platform. You will be the key link between our software engineering teams and our developer partners, producing the accurate, engaging documentation they need to build successful integrations.
What You'll Do
- Work alongside development teams to produce step-by-step procedures for integrating with our platform.
- Produce documents that define and contextualize what each part of our data model is used for.
- Translate API functionality into easy-to-follow instructions for writing API requests and understanding responses.
- Create upgrade guides, installation guides, security handbooks and other related documents for operations teams.
- Document our complex platform architecture.
- Guide our rapidly-expanding team on best practices for documentation and documentation-related processes.
What We're Looking For
- You must live in Malaysia.
- Experience working in software engineering and systems integration.
- Experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector.
- Familiarity with Open API schemas.
- Ability to make API calls using tools such as Postman and Bruno.
- Familiarity with checking out code using Git and running CLI commands to connect to environments.
- Ability to read and write JSON code at a basic level.
- Ability to develop rapport with software engineering team and produce documentation right away.
- You value precise, direct and fuss-free language.
- You take a hands-on approach to writing documents by stepping through every part of the user journey.
