Braze is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for our technical teams and build scalable, equitable recruiting systems. You will report directly to the VP of People and play a key role in shaping how we attract and hire top talent.
What You'll Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for all EPD (Engineering, Product, Design) roles, from sourcing to closing.
- Partner with the CTO, VPs, and hiring managers to scope roles, define requirements, and calibrate candidate quality.
- Build and enforce company-wide recruiting processes that drive consistency and fairness.
- Drive Greenhouse adoption across the organization as the single source of truth for recruiting data.
- Establish analytics and dashboards for metrics like time-to-fill, funnel conversion, and source effectiveness.
- Design and deliver interviewer training, structured debriefs, and hiring manager enablement programs.
- Source proactively via LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and talent mapping.
- Maintain a candidate-first experience, delivering timely updates to sustain a >95% offer acceptance rate.
- Develop recruiting infrastructure: standardized templates, playbooks, dashboards, and sourcing workflows.
- Manage vendor and agency relationships, driving ROI and accountability.
- Elevate our employer brand through thought leadership and candidate content.
- Partner with People Ops on onboarding, headcount planning, and compensation benchmarking.
- Support managers with role scoping and job leveling frameworks.
- Contribute to employee engagement and cultural initiatives.
- Act as a connector between recruiting and HR to ensure a unified talent lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- A strong focus on recruiting for technical or EPD roles in SaaS or high-growth tech environments.
- Prior HRBP or People Ops experience with the ability to flex between recruiting and broader people initiatives.
- Proven ability to build and implement recruiting processes, workflows, or systems at scale.
- Experience driving adoption of an ATS (such as Greenhouse or Lever) and improving process efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills for training hiring managers, facilitating debriefs, coaching interviewers, and delivering a consistent candidate experience.
- A data-driven mindset with experience building dashboards, tracking funnel metrics, and using analytics for decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating candidate-facing materials and employer brand content.
- Experience supporting Director or VP-level leadership hiring.
- A proven commitment to applying inclusive hiring practices, reducing bias, and creating equitable candidate experiences.
- Experience in remote or distributed team recruiting.
