About the Role

Highmark Health is hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator to ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience. You will support the talent acquisition team by coordinating all pre-hire processes, maintaining compliance, and successfully completing hire and transfer actions. This role also involves mentoring other coordinators and supporting the creation of team processes.

What You'll Do

  • Manage candidate background checks including criminal checks, drug screenings, adjudication, and license verification.
  • Ensure employee health screenings, vaccine documentation, and accommodations are complete prior to hire.
  • Conduct administrative tasks including employment correspondence, service request management, email management, and scheduling panel interviews.
  • Facilitate and ensure data integrity for all hires, transfers, and rehires, including start date changes and rescinded offers.
  • Deliver consistent, positive communication to candidates and partner with recruiters on any issues or delays.
  • Assist with process compliance components including license collection, pre-employment tracking, adjudication, and approvals.
  • Suggest updates to templates, SOPs, and processes as needed.
  • Keep Processes and Procedures documentation up-to-date and collaborate with other HR functions to drive consistency.
  • Administer training for new team members and on new processes.
  • [Executive Talent Acquisition Only] Provide white-glove service to candidates and pre-hires through interview coordination and pre-employment requirements.
  • [Executive Talent Acquisition Only] Provide backup support for the Executive Talent Acquisition Coordinator and assist with third-party staffing vendor management.

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Customer Service, administrative support, or a similar field.
  • 3+ years of proficiency in MS Office plus experience working with HRMS and applicant tracking systems.
  • 1+ year of prior experience within an HRIS or ATS; preferably Workday.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and/or Teams.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or another Business discipline.

Team & Environment

This role is part of the TA Operations team and provides mentorship, coaching, and training to other team members.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation Range: $21.53 - $32.30 per hour.

Work Mode

This position requires an onsite work mode.
