Every is seeking a part-time Cleaner for 1st Shift to join our team. You will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services in accordance with established standards.
What You'll Do
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces.
- Use light and heavy commercial floor machines like buffers and shampoo machines.
- Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean and shampoo as directed.
- Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces.
- Wash windowsills, interior glass, and specified windows.
- Wash or spot clean interior walls as appropriate.
- Clean bathrooms, restock paper supplies, and perform standard bathroom cleaning procedures.
- Monitor and report defects like clogged urinals or lights out.
- Collect building trash daily and place it in designated collection areas.
- Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers.
- Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways at building entrances as directed.
- Perform periodic work such as high dusting, leather or wood polishing, and wall washing.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
- Must be able to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
- Must function cooperatively as part of a team.
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
- Ability to use a portable backpack-style vacuum cleaner.
- Requires attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
