Baker Tilly is looking for a Healthcare Consulting Senior Consultant focused on cost reporting and reimbursement. You will be a trusted member of a fast-growing engagement team, responsible for cost report preparation, analysis, and compliance in a dynamic professional services environment.
What You'll Do
- Be a trusted member of the engagement team.
- Work with knowledge of state and federal regulations and reimbursement systems.
- Compile and file Medicaid/Medical Assistance cost reports.
- Compile and file Medicare cost reports.
- Analyze cost reports and provide observations and recommendations.
- Comply with pronouncements of professional and other regulatory groups.
- Take initiative to assist others in completing assignments whenever possible.
- Strive to meet productivity goals assigned by the Firm.
- Stay current with updates and improvements on applicable technology platforms.
- Work effectively and with a sense of urgency in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of work experience in the reimbursements field to include cost reporting and/or accounting/finance.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
- Experience and knowledge working within MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, etc.
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly.
- Ability to learn from experiences and integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with colleagues.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
