Baker Tilly is looking for a Healthcare Consulting Senior Consultant focused on cost reporting and reimbursement. You will be a trusted member of a fast-growing engagement team, responsible for cost report preparation, analysis, and compliance in a dynamic professional services environment.

What You'll Do

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team.
• Work with knowledge of state and federal regulations and reimbursement systems.
• Compile and file Medicaid/Medical Assistance cost reports.
• Compile and file Medicare cost reports.
• Analyze cost reports and provide observations and recommendations.
• Comply with pronouncements of professional and other regulatory groups.
• Take initiative to assist others in completing assignments whenever possible.
• Strive to meet productivity goals assigned by the Firm.
• Stay current with updates and improvements on applicable technology platforms.
• Work effectively and with a sense of urgency in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.

What We're Looking For

• 5 years of work experience in the reimbursements field to include cost reporting and/or accounting/finance.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Experience and knowledge working within MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, etc.
• Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly.
• Ability to learn from experiences and integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with colleagues.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Technical Stack

• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
