What we are looking for: We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Designer. You will serve as the critical intersection of multiple design disciplines, possessing a cohesive vision, robust analytical skills, and the capability to interpret extensive data while determining optimal strategies to deliver an exceptional metagame experience. Your Excel proficiency, multiplayer systems design expertise, and comprehensive understanding of major game mechanics position you perfectly for an exciting new AAA project. Requirements: What we will do together: - Collaborate closely with Game Director, Design Director, and Systems Design Lead to drive vision for major systems and balancing in an online multiplayer environment - Develop expert-level creative and technical guidance for metagame experience, including matchmaking systems, ELO algorithms, skills systems, economies, and weapon/ability balancing - Consistently advocate for player experience, prioritizing user perspective in all design decisions What you will bring: - Positive, collaborative attitude - Minimum two shipped AAA titles in systems design, with at least one in competitive multiplayer space - Proficiency in utilizing player data for live game system balancing - Familiarity with design tools, with expertise in Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred) - Comprehensive understanding of contemporary metagame systems - Strong creative and technical problem-solving skills - Exceptional communication capabilities Benefits: About our studio: We are a passionate team of developers committed to creating a once-in-a-career project.
