Ameriprise Financial is hiring a Senior Systems Analyst-Product Manager to be a key driver of innovation on our Brokerage Platform. You will enhance advisor and client experiences while ensuring the platform remains competitive, compliant, and operationally efficient.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical solutions by analyzing business requirements and troubleshooting as part of a product management team.
- Ensure clear, concise requirements are captured and participate in UAT testing, defect reporting, and implementation support.
- Collaborate across the organization with business, architects, UX designers, product managers, and software developers to improve advisor and client-facing tools.
- Track and evaluate user feedback for multiple tools and platform features.
- Lead and support strategic initiatives to enhance the Ameriprise Brokerage Platform, including new product development and platform enhancements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for brokerage products and services across cross-functional projects.
- Partner with internal teams (Technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Training) and external vendors to deliver platform improvements.
- Analyze platform usage, advisor feedback, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
- Drive the development and implementation of platform features that improve advisor efficiency, client satisfaction, and firm revenue.
- Manage product lifecycle activities including roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and performance tracking.
- Ensure platform compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Perform UAT testing for brokerage platform capabilities.
- Provide training, demos, and support to advisors and field leaders as needed.
- Contribute to strategic planning and Investment Optimization funding requests.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in financial services, preferably in product management or platform development.
- Strong understanding of brokerage operations, trading systems, and advisor workflows.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and managing platform enhancements.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with the following tools: JIRA, Morningstar Advisor Workstation.
- Experience with AdTrax submissions.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Experience with market data / exchange data.
