Soracom is hiring a Senior Strategic Sales Manager to own the EU/UK region and drive significant revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing large-scale strategic opportunities, managing both direct sales and partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Identify and engage mid-to-large enterprise customers across the EU/UK, with a focus on the UK, France, and DACH markets.
- Manage and grow both direct customer accounts and indirect sales opportunities through strategic partner collaborations.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive new customer acquisition and expansion.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Own the full sales cycle across direct and partner-led deals, from prospecting and negotiation to closing and account growth.
- Work closely with strategic partners to identify, develop, and close joint opportunities.
- Represent Soracom at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to build brand awareness.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts, and provide regular reporting.
- Gather customer and partner feedback to inform product and go-to-market strategies.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in strategic B2B sales, with a strong track record selling SaaS, IT, or IoT/telecommunications solutions to mid-to-large enterprises in the EU/UK.
- Proven success penetrating complex organizations and aligning cross-functional stakeholders to close high-value strategic deals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle enterprise sales, including pipeline building, forecasting, and CRM-based account management.
- Strong experience navigating diverse European markets, particularly the UK, France, and DACH, with established networks.
- Expertise in solution-selling and working closely with technical teams to develop tailored proposals.
- Experience rolling out complex SaaS or IoT solutions across multiple international sites or business units.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including team management and strategic guidance.
- Fluency in executive-level engagement and building relationships with CxO stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience negotiating commercial terms and collaborating with Legal/Contract teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations.
- Business-level proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
- Work experience at a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) or Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) focused on enterprise or IoT connectivity sales.
- Experience in sectors like Industrial IoT (Smart Factory), Consumer/Smart Living, Smart Mobility (EV charging), or Transactional Systems.
- Background at a large enterprise IT vendor with rigorous process discipline and structured sales methodologies.
- Business-level proficiency in other major European languages such as French, German, Spanish, or Dutch.
- Experience working remotely in an international environment.
- A proactive, "just do it" attitude and readiness to step outside defined responsibilities to help the team succeed.
