  • Partner with engineering and product leadership to define ambitious platform goals and deliver with velocity.
  • Contribute to infrastructure decisions around cloud-native services, Kubernetes, data lakes, and DevOps automation.
  • Help define and enforce high standards around system performance, quality, reliability, and security.
  • Mentor engineers, promote strong technical decision-making, and uphold a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience as a backend-focused software engineer, with a strong track record of building scalable systems.
  • Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (especially AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
  • Experience working with large-scale storage systems and open-source infrastructure components.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including monitoring, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
  • Strong understanding of security and software quality principles in production-grade environments.
  • Systems-thinking mindset — capable of reasoning about complex distributed architectures and data flows.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership in high-performance teams, with a growth mindset and company-first attitude.
