Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle implementations of D365 Finance, covering assessment, design, setup, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support
- Serve as the primary solution architect for finance modules in complex business environments
- Promote standardized and optimized financial processes across organizations
- Collaborate directly with CFOs, finance leaders, controllers, and business stakeholders
- Convert business needs into functional specifications including functional and business requirement documents
- Facilitate discovery sessions, requirement reviews, and user acceptance testing phases
- Provide expert guidance on modernizing finance functions using D365 capabilities
- Set up and manage Chart of Accounts structures
- Configure Financial Dimensions to support reporting and tracking
- Define Posting Profiles for accurate transaction handling
- Manage Ledger configurations and Fiscal Calendar setups
- Implement Tax rules, Multi-currency handling, and Intercompany accounting
- Ensure system designs comply with accounting standards such as local GAAP, IFRS, and SOX
- Partner with technical teams to integrate D365 with banking systems, procurement platforms, and invoice processing tools
- Collaborate on planning and validating data migration from legacy systems
- Monitor and guide the development of financial reports, performance metrics, and management dashboards
- Review system configurations, functional designs, and test cases for accuracy and completeness
