Walmart is hiring a Senior Specialist, Workforce Planning (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the main contact for resolving scheduling and attendance challenges across multiple contact center locations
  • Oversees the attendance call line, comparing reported absences with actual attendance and staffing plans
  • Proposes corrective strategies to close gaps between planned staffing and attendance levels
  • Records agent attendance issues and relays scheduling and attendance concerns to operational leaders
  • Informs staff about attendance policies and leave options, escalating to managers when discipline is needed
  • Supports the creation of staffing forecasts by evaluating key metrics from scheduling systems
  • Assesses staffing requirements based on anticipated workload volumes
  • Shares performance trends and operational gaps with workforce planning teams and collaborates on efficiency improvements
  • Monitors real-time workforce and agent performance to assess performance against set benchmarks
  • Acts as the central liaison for issues affecting operations
  • Coordinates responses to operational disruptions to enhance efficiency and reduce performance impact
  • Confirms alignment between call volume, agent availability, and business demands
  • Helps implement business solutions by establishing relationships with key internal partners
  • Identifies operational requirements and objectives
  • Defines and executes necessary workflows and operational practices
  • Tracks progress and evaluates outcomes against goals
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and adapts to shifting priorities and organizational changes
  • Models adherence to company policies and ethics by integrating standards into business planning
  • Utilizes the Open Door Policy to address concerns
  • Demonstrates and supports others in applying company policies within daily operations
  • Applies UpToDate knowledge to develop, execute, and refine action plans
  • Offers expert guidance on using data and best practices effectively
  • Supports initiatives aligned with customer and business objectives
  • Fosters buy-in for decisions and strategic reasoning
