Junction is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to own detailed technical conversations with both startup and enterprise engineering teams. This role exists to free our Product team from external calls while scaling high-quality customer support, allowing us to focus on our mission: using health data to unlock unprecedented insight into human health and disease.
What You'll Do
- Lead pre-sales technical calls, explaining our API, auth model, architecture, integration patterns, lab coverage, device data flows, and compliance posture.
- Be the primary technical voice in customer interactions, handling deep technical questions and bringing in Product or Engineering only when necessary.
- Own customer onboarding through early integration, partnering with customer engineers to achieve first successful API calls and production launch.
- Troubleshoot edge cases and integration issues quickly over Slack and live calls.
- Own and improve Junction’s technical collateral, including documentation, guides, decks, and segment-specific materials.
- Translate recurring customer blockers and feature gaps into structured input for the Product and Engineering roadmap.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer for a technical B2B product.
- Supported an API-first platform and can explain authentication, access control, architecture, and integration trade-offs.
- Independently led technical pre-sales conversations with both startup and enterprise customers, selling to engineering-heavy buyers.
- Been the primary technical contact guiding customers through evaluation and early integration.
- Onboarded customers from kickoff through implementation and production launch.
- Handled security and compliance work with customers, including questionnaires and reviews (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, BAAs).
- Can troubleshoot integration issues live with customer engineering teams.
- Created and maintained technical documentation and sales/onboarding collateral.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, fintech, or another regulated, technically complex domain.
- Experience at Seed–Series C B2B SaaS companies.
