Iron Mountain is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect

This senior technical leadership role focuses on designing and delivering sophisticated digital transformation solutions in collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams. The role provides deep technical guidance, leads solution innovation, and drives measurable business outcomes through strategic partner engagements and influence on product development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex technical discussions with customers and partners, particularly on multi-solution or high-value opportunities.
  • Design industry-specific reference architectures, integration models, and solution blueprints for sectors such as Financial Services, Retail, and Healthcare.
  • Manage advanced Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to validate scalability and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
  • Coach Sales Engineers and Digital Transformation Executives on technical demonstrations, customer workshops, and solution storytelling.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical outputs within aggressive timelines.
  • Collaborate with Hyperscalers, Global System Integrators, ISVs, and regional partners to develop and deploy joint solutions.
  • Conduct technical roadmap sessions with partners and internal product teams to align on strategic direction.
  • Enable partners with technical knowledge to increase adoption of digital solutions.
  • Represent partner-driven solutions at industry events, conferences, and summits.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between customers, partners, and product teams to influence roadmap priorities.
  • Deliver structured feedback on features to product and engineering teams to align roadmaps with market needs.
  • Produce technical content such as reference designs, whitepapers, data sheets, and blog posts to support sales and partner efforts.
  • Maintain expertise in emerging technologies including AI/ML, large language models, content services, data governance, and automation.
  • Identify new solution opportunities using capabilities from ISVs and Hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, ServiceNow, and Workday.
  • Promote best practices in digital architecture, emphasizing security, scalability, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years in roles such as Solution Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proven collaboration with Hyperscalers, GSIs, ISVs, or partner networks on co-sell programs.
  • Track record of influencing product roadmaps and providing technical thought leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture across SaaS, PaaS, BPO, and data/content management domains.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific challenges in Financial Services, Retail, and Healthcare, with ability to tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Python or comparable scripting languages for prototyping and automation tasks.
  • Experience designing solutions incorporating AI/ML, workflow automation, and intelligent document processing.
  • Ability to mentor technical teams and lead discovery and POC processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both C-suite executives and technical architects.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, ECM, Information Governance, and Business Intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise networking, security frameworks, backup and recovery systems, and data protection strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with hyperscale cloud platforms such as AWS S3/REST, Azure, and GCP, as well as ISVs like Snowflake, OpenAI, ServiceNow, and Workday.
  • Strong presentation and training skills for enabling internal and external stakeholders.
