LaunchDarkly is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to join our elite Professional Services organization. In this role, you will guide customers through transformative implementations, acting as a trusted advisor to accelerate software development and adopt modern release practices.
What You'll Do
- Leverage deep technical expertise and a consultative approach to understand customer needs, gather detailed requirements, and influence key decisions.
- Lead Professional Services engagements designed to optimize clients’ software delivery processes, aligning strategies with industry best practices.
- Provide guidance on software development best practices, advising customers on how to harness LaunchDarkly to accelerate delivery while minimizing risk.
- Foster a robust technical partnership between LaunchDarkly and its customers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing value.
- Identify and resolve technical obstacles that hinder value realization.
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on LaunchDarkly, continuously evolving your knowledge.
- Act as a key advocate for customers, synthesizing and conveying feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software.
- Hands-on technical background with a consultative approach.
- Expert in implementing the full software development lifecycle with multiple years of experience in an enterprise environment.
- Experienced developing in at least one of: Java, .NET, Go, JS, Python, PHP, NodeJS, Ruby, Rails, iOS, or Android.
- Able to guide customers and teammates in implementation of DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery practices.
- Have delivered on teams through development process transformation.
- Learn and synthesize large amounts of information and adept at acquiring context to make prescriptive recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with discipline and focus to know where attention is most needed.
Nice to Have
- Experience with experimentation and mobile.
- Served as a consultant for customers in the past.
- Performed in both a pre-sales and post-sales capacity.
- Experience with LaunchDarkly or other feature management platforms.
- Worked with the services of one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Worked with Linux, Containers, and Virtual Machines.

- Zone 1 (SF/Bay Area, NYC Metro, Boston, Seattle): $167,000 - $229,000
- Zone 2 (Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago): $150,000 - $206,000
- Zone 3 (All other US locations): $141,000 - $195,000
