Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services for sales applications
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Optimize system performance and ensure high availability
- Lead code reviews and maintain code quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
- Integrate with third-party sales and CRM platforms
- Write automated tests to ensure software reliability
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth
- Stay current with evolving technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven experience with backend development using Java, Python, or similar
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of database design and query optimization
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Solid grasp of software design patterns and clean code principles
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sales technology or CRM systems
- Background in high-scale transactional systems
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of security best practices in web applications
- Prior leadership or tech lead experience
