About the role: We are recruiting a Senior Software Engineer with extensive, specialized expertise in CCaaS platforms, Conversational AI, and development. In this position, you will serve as the primary technical architect for our Post-Sales Systems team, managing our Zoom Contact Center ecosystem. Your core responsibility involves designing, constructing, and overseeing the entire platform, including interaction routing, treatment logic, and deployment of native CCaaS-based AI and conversational AI. Success requires a unique combination of solution architecture, hands-on Python development, and comprehensive understanding of modern contact center technology infrastructure. You will collaborate across Customer Support and Product teams, transforming abstract concepts into a production-ready, enterprise-grade CCaaS strategy. This role is available for candidates residing in the US, excluding Alaska, Austin metro, California, Chicago metro, Connecticut, Dallas metro, Denver metro, Houston metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, and Washington DC metro. In this role, you will: - Serve as primary technical owner and architect for Zoom Contact Center platform - Design and implement sophisticated interaction routing flows - Architect custom Python solutions for AI agents and platform integrations - Deploy and optimize native CCaaS-based AI solutions - Evaluate and integrate third-party APIs for conversational and generative AI - Implement real-time data processing workflows and API-driven services Minimum requirements: - 6+ years technical experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or AI - 3+ years direct contact center and routing experience - Proven Python proficiency - Strong RESTful API and real-time data processing skills - SQL and database management expertise - Experience managing complex enterprise project lifecycles Ideal candidate additional qualifications: - AI product launch experience - Solutions architecture background - iPaaS platform familiarity - Speech analytics model expertise Compensation Philosophy: Samsara offers competitive total compensation including base salary, bonus/variable pay, and potential restricted stock unit awards. Compensation ranges from $114,537.50 to $154,000 USD, varying based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
