AeroVect is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Perception to develop and maintain the perception systems for our autonomous ground handling operations. You will be responsible for building robust systems that enable safe and efficient vehicle autonomy.
What You'll Do
- Train, deploy, and monitor 2D/3D object detection models for Camera, LiDAR, and Radar sensors
- Build and maintain the data collection, labeling, and evaluation metrics pipeline
- Maintain our proprietary multi-modal dataset for training and evaluation
- Architect a deterministic secondary perception system
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field
- 3+ years of focused experience in perception (sensing, preprocessing, detection, tracking)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS2
- The ability to work autonomously
Nice to Have
- PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline
- Experience developing CUDA kernels
