Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning, research, design, architecture, development, and testing of Atlas Labs software features. You’ll write code daily, definitely in Python and possibly in C++ or JavaScript.
- Work as part of a cross-functional Scrum team with domain experts in AI/ML, Geospatial Data, Software Engineering, and GIS.
- Collaborate with internal and external users to ensure the correctness, quality, and availability of Atlas Labs software products.
Requirements
- Meaningful employment experience working on commercial software products
- Experience writing production code in Python, preferably dealing with large datasets
- Demonstrated experience or academic output in a relevant domain: Geospatial Data Processing, Computer Vision, AI & Machine Learning, LiDAR, Robotics/Self-Driving/Autonomy
- General familiarity with relevant technologies: Linux, Docker, and GitHub
- General familiarity with relevant technologies: AI/ML frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch)
- General familiarity with relevant technologies: Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google)
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with GIS applications like ESRI, QGIS, Google Earth
- Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes, AirFlow, MLFlow
- Programming experience in C++ or JavaScript
- Experience with Agile processes like Scrum
