Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable platform services, mobile and web applications, and AI-integrated workflows, guiding choices in event-driven design, service partitioning, performance, and long-term code sustainability.
- Utilize AI-powered development tools for code generation, automated testing, and pipeline optimization to enhance delivery velocity and software quality.
- Engage in new project architecture planning, including technology stack evaluation, service design, and infrastructure approach to shape foundational systems.
- Implement robust security measures across application, network, and infrastructure levels, incorporating secure coding standards, OWASP guidelines, and DAST, SCA, and SAST tool integration.
- Collaborate with product teams to define MVP requirements, track feature usage, and assess business impact through measurable outcomes.
- Enhance software development lifecycle practices, including test strategies, pull request standards, CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, and developer tooling.
- Support engineering recruitment by assessing candidates' technical capabilities and alignment with modern software practices.
- Promote a collaborative environment centered on knowledge exchange, teamwork, and ongoing technical growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of six years of experience building high-performance, scalable systems across web, mobile, or backend platforms.
- Proven use of AI-assisted development tools in daily workflows, such as automated testing and CI/CD pipeline enhancement.
- Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, covering deployment models, networking, observability, and application scalability.
- Strong grasp of system design patterns including event-driven architectures, microservices, distributed computing, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with security best practices across layers, including OWASP principles, secure coding, and integration of DAST, SCA, and SAST tools.
- Ability to work closely with both engineering and product teams to deliver aligned technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience operating in regulated healthcare settings, with knowledge of HIPAA, protected health information (PHI) handling, and technical aspects of EHR integrations or health data exchange.
- Background in startups or fast-growing organizations requiring high ownership, adaptability, and full-cycle delivery responsibility.
- Experience designing or integrating AI/ML features such as predictive systems, automated workflows, or retrieval-augmented generation solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead system-wide improvements that support business goals.
