Responsibilities
- Define and lead test strategy for high-impact product domains and cross-system integrations.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for UI and API layers using Playwright.
- Take ownership of large-scale API test automation, including contract validation, end-to-end workflows, and data integrity checks.
- Plan, schedule, and carry out performance testing to detect system bottlenecks, verify SLAs, and assess reliability under load.
- Mentor mid-level and junior QA engineers through code reviews, collaborative problem-solving, and technical guidance.
- Promote quality engineering standards such as shift-left testing, test pyramid adherence, and continuous integration within CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with engineering leadership to evaluate release readiness, assess risks, and track quality metrics.
- Identify deficiencies in testing tools, processes, and coverage, and initiate improvements to strengthen overall quality assurance.
