SiteMinder is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to build frontend solutions and features using the latest technology in an agile fashion. You'll focus on creating clean, scalable code and a great user experience.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging experiences using the latest in front-end technologies, including Vue.js, TypeScript, Webpack, GraphQL, Restful APIs, and Node.js
- Build scalable and testable high quality frontend code
- Work in a cross-functional team and participate in sprint planning, refinement, retrospective and demos
- Feature lead and lead features from technical design, implementation to release
- Collaborate with other engineers and the product owner to help deliver solutions that solve business problems
- Contribute to code reviews and documentation
- Onboard and mentor junior engineers
- Keep up to date with best practices and latest technologies
What We're Looking For
- Extensive professional experience with Javascript/Typescript and a modern frontend framework Vue.js (Mandatory)
- Experience building and maintaining large scale production platforms using modern web technologies
- Be able to write clean, well-organized code while making appropriate trade-offs between performance, robustness and maintainability
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Understanding of a frontend ecosystem - bundling, linting, testing and releasing code
Nice to Have
- Ability and willingness to learn new frameworks and paradigms
- Familiarity with responsive design
- Familiarity integrating with REST APIs and GraphQL
- Familiarity with build pipelines and CI/CD systems
