This role focuses on advancing our data platform and analytical infrastructure to support strategic decision-making across product and business development functions. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, product specialists, and business teams to transform complex datasets into actionable intelligence. Responsibilities: - Integrate proprietary software with cloud solutions and modern programming languages to create scalable applications - Implement security-focused, cloud-native approaches for event-driven and high-throughput computational operations - Consistently apply organization-wide Engineering Standards ensuring regulatory compliance - Develop comprehensive documentation for all Engineering systems - Collaborate with the broader Engineering team using productivity tools - Migrate Python scripting to robust, thoroughly tested Go software - Work alongside Architects to continuously improve software engineering standards - Maintain documentation, runbooks, and archival processes for billing and audit requirements Required Skills & Abilities: - Full stack development expertise - Proficiency in Golang, Python, shell scripting - Minimum 3 Years experience in FinTech or regulated environments - Advanced knowledge of in-memory data structures and algorithms - Extensive experience with cloud-native storage platforms - Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) capabilities Preferred Skills: - High-Throughput (Batch) Processing experience - Event-Driven systems understanding - Protocol expertise (TCP/UDP, FIX, Protocol Buffers) - Cloud networking knowledge Education: - BS Computer Science or equivalent professional experience Compensation Philosophy: Target salary range: $160,000-$200,000 (anticipated midpoint: $180,000) Compensation includes base pay, potential stock options, performance incentives, and comprehensive benefits.
