Scotiabank is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Global Payments Technology team. In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions by leading the design, development, and deployment of Pega PRPC applications. You will be instrumental in translating business requirements into scalable, effective solutions that deepen client relationships.

What You'll Do

Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Pega PRPC Solutions.
Translate business requirements into scalable, high quality Pega applications.
Develop workflows, business rules, Integrations, UI, and case management capabilities with Pega.
Collaborate with BA's, architects and QA teams to ensure high quality deliverables.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship and guidance to junior Pega developers.
Troubleshoot, debug and optimize existing Pega applications.
Work with stakeholders to identify process automation opportunities and recommend improvements.
Participate in code and design reviews.
Stay up to date with the latest Pega platform features, versions and enhancements.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience leading the design, development, and deployment of Pega PRPC solutions.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality applications.
Strong expertise in developing workflows, business rules, integrations, UI, and case management with Pega.
Experience providing technical mentorship and guidance to other developers.
Excellent collaboration skills with business analysts, architects, and QA teams.
